State-of-the-art Odeon Cinema
This ambitious project was undertaken by HFC, who were tasked with repurposing and rejuvenating the space into a state-of-the-art Odeon Cinema. Over an intense 8-week program, HFC expertly managed and executed a comprehensive refit that breathed new life into the venue, ensuring that every visit to Odeon Park Royale is an unforgettable cinematic journey.
Enhanced Viewing Experience: At the heart of the transformation was the complete overhaul of the cinema’s nine screens. Each screening room was meticulously stripped down and rebuilt with new staging to support an innovative seating design. This design focuses on optimizing sightlines, ensuring every seat in the house offers an excellent viewing experience. Enhanced accessibility was a key consideration, with fully accessible ramps and expanded seating areas making the cinema enjoyable for all guests.
Gourmet Concessions Upgrade: Recognizing the importance of refreshments in the cinema-going experience, a significant upgrade was made to the food preparation area. The kitchen was equipped with WhiteRock walls, a durable and hygienic solution ideal for busy culinary environments. The installation of a new, fully-equipped kitchen means guests can now enjoy a wider variety of gourmet concessions, elevating the standard cinema fare to new culinary heights.
Attention to Detail: The refurbishment extended beyond the screens and kitchen. HFC’s craftsmanship shone through in the second fix joinery, which saw the meticulous installation of fire doors, skirting boards, and a striking false ceiling. This ceiling, part of the under-lit bulkhead in the foyer, creates a welcoming ambiance that captivates guests from the moment they step into the cinema, promising an experience that’s as much about comfort and style as it is about entertainment.
